Data Processing Cluster v1.0 - EMR on EC2

The Data Processing Cluster product a scalable compute cluster to parallelize data processing using frameworks like Apache Spark in order to cut data processing time down, to process larger amounts of data, or both. This computational service also enables the ability to aggregate and summarize large amounts of data for analytical output.

FCS currently manages and runs two editions of the AWS EMR service. This product documentation covers version 1.0 of the FCS service, which gives specialized tenants access to a static and standalone AWS EMR on EC2 cluster for running jobs.
