Getting Started

To get started with MicroStrategy, work with your business program/project manager if they already have a tenancy, or work with the Cloud Advisory Team to start a new tenancy. MicroStrategy is licensed product, that will require procuring and provisioning individual seat licenses for each user using the product. It is also a shared resource among multiple tenants, so planning of funding and compute resources is needed before starting.

How to Login

The following provides step-by-step outline for logging in to MicroStrategy servers in tenant development and production environments.

1. Login with your FCS username and password
   • If you have forgotten your username, you can request it by submitting a JIRA ticket
   • If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by selecting the “Reset Password” hyperlink below the “Login” button
   • Submitting a ticket to reset your password
     • Step 1: Access this link https://cm-jira.usa.gov/servicedesk/customer/portal/12
     • Step 2: Select FCS Access Request
     • Step 3: Enter in the required information
       • Explain in the ticket you need your password reset
2. Next, you will be prompted to enter in your One Time Password (OTP)
   • The OTP will be sent to your email address from fcs.no-reply@gsa.gov
3. Once you have logged into your MicroStrategy Account, you will be redirected to the MicroStrategy dashboard, depending which environment your logging into.
